Hello, I am 52 years old and I can freely say that menopause made a hell out of my life. That means that I suffer from high blood pressure, which can potentially lead to angina pectoris. I am always nervous and jumpy, mood changes are something quite common for me. I have been prescribed with beta blocker at start and now I take diuretics too. Can they be prescribed together?

Yes they can and it is a common medication combo when it comes to dealing with the high blood pressure. Although, I have to admit that beta blocker is not an easy medication. It has its own downsides, side effects actually, that usually occur after some period of taking. I just hope that you will not have to deal with those.
