carvedilol and taking advil for pain

i had the same issue and to my knowledge here is what I found .

pain killers contain potassium almost all of them . if you take carvedilol same as me and take pain killer such as advil that contains potassium it will cause the sudden release of the carvedilol in your body and makes you feel worst than having a high blood episode . I suggest you consult a doctor in order to choose the proper pain killer for you . to this day I haven't found any pain killer that doesn't contain potassium .
I didn't know the interactions and I took advil once and I regret it as I had to immediately go to the ER . still these findings are not from a physician point of view and knowledge but its the result of hours of research . good luck to you
