Good day" my chest xray show that i do have a suspicious infiltrates in the right upper lung superimposed on the osseous stuctures.... Heart is not enlarged. Diaphragm and costophrenic sulci are intact.. But they suggest to apico- lordotic view

 

What does this means?

Hi Zippo,

The apicolordotic view is an x-ray taken from an angle that better focuses on the tops (apices) of the lungs.  Sometimes what they see are "artifacts", things that aren't there.  This can help clear up the image.

The infiltrates may be calcified structures, the report is not clear.  Normally "osseous" refers to bone or a bony type material.

Ask your doctor to explain the findings.
