Hi..my chest x ray show that i have a suspicious infiltrates in the right upper lung field...they suggest me for apicolordotic view for further evaluation. What does it means?

Hi Danica,

The apicolordotic view is an x-ray taken from an angle that better focuses on the tops (apex) of the lungs.  Sometimes there are artifacts in the images that make an interpretation difficult.

You may also require a sputum test.

Suspicious densities means just that, they require investigation but are not sure of what they are.  They may turn out to be nothing or in some cases could be PTB.
