HI. I’m 47 years old and have been living with depression for almost half of my life. I’ve tried numerous meds but none of them really helped me. Few months ago I decided to give a ciprimal a try. First I only took half a tablet and even so I experienced a few side affects… I still haven’t increased the dosage and I’m still taking only half a tab but also still having problems controlling my depression. Should I continue with the tablets and should I finaly increase dosage to 1 tablet or even more??

It is not uncommon to experience side effects when you first start a medication, especially if you were taking other pills previously. In most cases these side effect experiences usually disappear. On the other hand, it sounds to me like you’re not taking the therapeutic dose of the drug so I really can’t see why it should help you in a manner you would like. If you want drug to have effect than you whish, then you must apply the right dosage. The dose you should be taking is the one that your doctor prescribed for you – if you’re not sure what the right dosage is, see your doctor for that matter.
