That much bleeding is usually not normal. However, it depends on how heavy or light your periods are. When I first had sex, there was a very big bloody stain on my sheets, it hurt a little bit but it wasn’t uncomfortable.
The reason it burned and itched could be due to the spermicide in the condom or maybe if your vagina was not wet enough. Dry vagina can make sex very unpleasant and even painful, sometimes impossible. Things like these could be happening especially if both you and your boyfriend are inexperienced.
This first sex bleeding should last just for a day, or maybe even the following day but not longer. If you continue to bleed a lot, then you should have it checked.
Did the burning and itching start right away? If it did, it is just a sign of irritation, nothing else and honestly I don’t think you should worry about it.
If it persists, then you should see a doctor!
