The first time you have sex you lose your virginity. If through sports or exercise your hymen has not broken and is intact then during penetration into your vagina, the penis goes through the hymen thus breaking the barrier of skin and causes bleeding.
It's completely normal and most females experience this. It should be less painful (if you felt this) and should be little to no bleeding again.
