Hanging piece of hymen

I have the EXACT same thing!
I wondered if others had it too. When i pinch it i also don't feel anything and its definitely no longer than 1cm long.
I'm 14 but I've used tampons since i was 11, i'll probably get it surgically removes when I'm older. Maybe you could talk to a gynaecologist about it if its getting in the way of your sex life :) good luck

I was super embarassed too so never talked to anyone about it. I used to have problems taking tamPons out before and it would get caught on my partially entact hymen and hurt like hell but i eventually broke it by ike many of you and i have to say the best way by being totally drunk and didn't feel a thing but it is weird looking but u can just tuck that in haha. When I had a miscarriage and the doctors were down there she said "oh you have your hymen hanging out, don't worry its not a big deal you can get someone to snip that off whenever."

Omg I had the same thing happen to me like EXACT minus the he went to sleep with his gf after but with the being passed out and picked up off bathroom floor and raped cuz that's what it is I was 15 and a bunch of girls at the party got together knowing that this guy has a rep for this and they busted in the room and pulled him off me and then all my friends left me there and I woke up raped bleeding confused hung over and surrounded by a house full of dudes I didn't know. Horrible experience but thankful I was so piss drunk cuz i don't remember him I think if I did i would be tram a tied as rape victims are but try not to let it bother me but I can't believe that happened to someone else I used to fee a ot of shame since I thought it was my fault cuz i was drunk but I was a little girl and some guys are so disgusting and desperate that they takethings that aren't theirs

Tbh.. I'd snip it myself . I wouldn't deal with that sh*t for the rest of my life . Lol same thing happened to me today and I was like its the 5th time not doing it again I'm 13 but I'm not stupid or crazy it's not like it gonna hurt anymore than it would when they "snip" it when you have a baby. Like if they are going to do it then why not do it now

I think I have the same problem and I'm 15 I'm really scared about this! And does it have any side effects please help and I really think people would find this gross

I did the same thing. It's gone but almost had to go to the er because the bleeding wouldn't stop. Two towels full and I was very dizzy.

Hello I also have the hymen problem. ;( but I'm 27 and I noticed it about 4 months ago. I thought it was an std. but then I went to dr. and he said no std's, I had forgotten to mention that there was a stringy piece of thin flesh hanging out of me on the right side. all he did was do swab tests. I was happy and then freaked out. bc I was srtill wondering what the heck it was. when I was a little girl I was molested by my stepfather. I still have horrible memories and such. but lke when I was maybe 13 or 14 I fingered my self and I felt this little bubble inside me and I remember I kept touching it and all of a sudden I started bleeding and bleeding and it would not stop. I was at my dads in my bedroom for the weekend and I did not come out bc I was in there so long and I thought I was done and I SAT ON THE COUCH AND It started again. I mean there was soo much blood I ruined my underwear and towels and I kept ringing out all the blood in the bathtub. I was scared that my dad would start asking me questions like "honey, why do you keep going back and forth to your bedroom and bathroom are you okay"
Well, I am 27 never had any children and never married, I never had this piece of flesh hanging tere before and I noticed it 4 months ago. I'm lost and need some help! thanks! :)

Hey, I have done a lot of research and I'm not sure if this is my problem or what. But I'm 13 years old turning 14 in May and...I haven't told anyone this. But I have a flesh-like thing just hanging from my vigina. I have never looked at my vigina because I was so scared to look at it. It's been there for like five years and I'm just sick of it! I want to tell someone in my real life, but i have never EVER had surgery. So, is my problem like yours? Please reply. You might not because you have a life or you might not see this but...ugh. Yea. Been there done that. Go to the gyno and have it removed. They used a local anesthetic which wasn't the most pleasant but was definitely bareable, cut off the dangly piece and sutured it up. It was sore for about 2 days but has been normal ever since! Don't be scared, it's no biggie.

What happened after you cut it? How long did it take to heal? Did you cut off the circulation at all?

The same thing happened to me, not until after I lost my virginity did I notice a little piece of skin that seemed to hang slightly out of the opening of my v. Not to be weird but it reminded me of a super mini tongue and I hated it and was so embarrassed for my boyfriend to see or feel it. It had feeling to it, though way more dull than any other parts down there so one day when I was feeling brave (and bored and stupid) I stretched it some, tied a piece of dental floss VERY tightly around it, left it like that for probably an hour until it looked like the circulation was cut off and had zero feeling and I literally snipped it off with my sharpest scissors (on the numb side of the floss knot). Im not gonna lie, it did bleed, I sat over the toilet for a minute and dripped blood but it really wasn't an ongoing thing and it didn't hurt. Immediately wiped with warm soapy wash cloth and applied neosporin and never had a problem after. No more blood, no infection, and no weirdo skin tag/leftover hymen thing. I AM NOT advising you try this, because I may have just gotten lucky as far as not causing infection or crazy bleeding. But hey just telling you how I handled it, and that I understand your frustration, and partly to confess, because who else could I tell about THAT lol

Ok ok, I'm pretty worryed ok i sort of have this problem with wedgies and well somthing that happend when i was younger and i gave myself a marven and later realized my vagina hurt real bad when i wiped i looked down and there was a piece of skin hanging there in the flap part and it was never there before i feel real scared about it and dont know what to do i dont want to go to docter about it cuz what if i caused it what do i do im so stressed out right now pls help pls pls.
