I recently went back on the pill after about 4 years off. I am on the same brand as I was before and have been taking it exactly as prescibed....same time every day, started on 1st day of my period which also happened to be a sunday. I am on the last week of active pills as of today and have been bleeding the entire time with NO breaks. I know some breakthrough bleeding is to be expected but since this is continuous it seems a bit ridiculous. I got back on the pill to stop long periods not extend them even more. I am very frustrated. Has anyone gone through this before? How long before I can expect bleeding to stop? I don't think I can deal with continuous bleeding for 3 whole months before it gets straightened out. :-(
