I took Plan B about 2.5 months ago. I usually have my period on time lasting 1 week. My period, however, was late 2-3 weeks. Now I got my period, and it is the 3rd week and I'm still experiencing menstrual flow, along with terrible cramps and lots of blood clots. The first week was especially heavy that within an hour I would leak through both a tampon AND a pad. Are these just side effects of Plan B?

Plan B really messes with your system, or so I've heard at least. So if I were you I wouldn't expect a normal period for a while. Is there any chance you remember how you felt about a month after taking plan B. Like did you have any symptoms such as nausea, back or neck aches, or weight gain?

I didnt get any of those symptoms, however recently I started having really bad stomach pains for about 2 days. I took advil and I stop having the pains. I did gain a little weight, but I have been eating a lot of fast food lately since I am studying for a graduate exam. The fast food were not cravings, but due to time away from studying and being a college student, I resorted to fast food. But the month after I felt perfectly normal- no nausea, morning sickness, etc.

Thank you for that information.
Basically just go back to my first reply. Plan B is messing with your system so your periods may not be normal. If you feel that something else may be wrong, I suggest seeing a doctor or maybe some sort of campus nurse if they have something like that where you are going to school.
