Recently my mother told me that I have a personal history of heart disease. My grandparents had heart failure. I’m 25 years old and I know that I still don’t need to worry about it. But I would like to know how to prevent heart failure? Please, I would appreciate if you give me some advice. Thanks!

The most important thing is to get the risk factors under control. It’s possible. You can successfully control or eliminate many of the risk factors for heart disease like high blood pressure or level of cholesterol in your blood. Don’t smoke and don’t drink too much alcohol.
