hi ladies! im new here and i was just wondering about something. I'm 22 and have been married for 6 months. My husband and I have concluded that we are technically trying for a baby. And by technically i mean we use no birth control or condom nor does he pull out and go by the saying of 'if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. So with that said, i've always been known to have irregular periods as in either miss a period one month and then have it the next and then the next month it'll be later or even on time as the last. I have no idea when i ovulate because of the irregularity of my periods but sort of hope to be pregnant. I just had my last period, on the 31 of January and it ended about the 4th of february. We had sex both the 5th of feb and the 6th of feb. Now i know i couldn't possibly be having any sort of pregnancy symptoms but i just wanted to know if 1) i could be pregnant having sex just a day after my period and 2) would should i be looking for or not looking for. I know every woman is different.
On a sidenote, I have gone to the doctor for my yearly check up *pap* and everything is normal, though I am a little overweight and I have heard being overweight or obese can interfere with conception, but am not totally sure if that's true. Like i said, I'm just curious and would like some advice. I'm sure there have been other women asking the same questions so I'm sorry if this question is just repitious.
Thanks again!

Hi Starlight Girly,
Congrats to on your road to "mommy hood".
I have had irregular cycles as well. You usually know that you are ovulating, when you wipe and have this discharge that is thick, a little mucousy. No odor.... just mucousy. It is rather "slippery" when you wipe, that is how you might be able to tell. Dont get discouraged, just keep trying.
I used to be able to feel ovulation by the pain, but not anymore.
Blessings,
Hizgrace
