i am 27 and have had to have 117 ops due to blockage, breakage and meningitis, i now have a lumbar peritoneal shunt and i am now a full time carer, should not let anything to do with hydrocephalus get in the way of doing what you want to do! There has been times where i have felt as if no one understands what i’ve been through and what i am continuing to go through. 

 

I know have slit ventricle syndrome and was told when i was younger that i had dandy walker syndrome, but when i last spoke to my neurologist he said he didn’t think i have it
