I think I got my period.. but, it's dark brown? Help?

before a month of me getting my period there were yellow and light brown stains on my underwear. I got my period for the first time this week and it was black because, period is basically the dirty blood in your body. thats why women are more pure and healthy than men. So dont worry after a couple of times it will become red . So black is healthy

yes this is normal , its just that some blood from your late period didn't come out, so that blood became old and when blood gets old it turns brown so that's why it's mostly coming out brown

Lol I know how u feel! When I got my first period it's was brown. I was very confused. I thought I pooped on myself. But my mom told me it was my period and that it's completely normal.

Don't worry, that happened to me as well.! If you're having brown substance instead of red blood,don't worry, its completely normal. When you first start your period you need to get rid of all your blood lining which has turned brown.. Afterwards red blood will come soon!!

Hey I'm 15 started my period last year and it was brown but don't worry that really is your period every month you will get it and every time it will turn redder and redder until it's turns fully into a red period x

Me too! I've been getting a dark brown light fluid stuff in my underwear. It happens every hour or so and has been the past 2 days. Is this my period or discharge?

Brown-sticky thing is obviously sign that your period is starting or will be soon. For me it happens every time so it must be normal :3

Do not be worried, its just old blood coming out to bring out the new blood. You may have started your period. Dont be afraid to ask your mother to help or for advice. Ask her questions to help you.
