Hi,im a little concerned about something. First off im 24 years old and have the most bizarre irregular period. Sometimes I'll go 8 months without it. So I'm a lot confused bout when I ovulate. Anyways in the beginning of last year my then fiance and I were trying to conceive. We tried for 6 months and nothing. Alls well I guess seeing how we broke up. But 2 weeks ago I ran into my ex(maybe a couple days after my period) and we forgot to use protection. Couple days after "the incident" I've been getting wierd cramping. And this morning I felt nauseous but it went away just as fast as it came. What are the chances I can be pregnant, our just being paranoid??

Hey Teenie,

Anytime you have unprotected sex you could get pregnant.

You had broken up for a bit.  Were you sexually active during this time?

It would probably be too early to feel pregnancy symptoms yet but I guess you never know, everyone is different.  Usually fertilization/conception takes place around a week before your expected period but seeing as you don't get that regularly you will need to wait another week or two before testing.

Remember when you test to use your first pee of the day as you will get a more accurate result this way.

Hope this helps and this is what you want?
