My fiance is in the airforce. I went to visit him on the base where he was training in GA june 20, 2012. I began my period on June 17, 2012, and ended my period June 21,2012 (as scheduled). We had been having unprotected sex. He finished inside of me on Sunday, June 24, early morning (idk if details like that are needed). My ovulation dates are supposed to be the 25th-30th. We were trying to get pregnant, he deployed yesterday, June 27,2012. What would be the likelihood of me becoming pregnant? I need answers as to when I would find out, and the likelihood of this becoming a pregnancy..

Well, I think that it could actually be very possible for you to be pregnant from that. Your typical ovulation days can vary by a day or so quite easily as I understand it. Also, according to new discoveries, it seems that part of what determines the sex of a baby, has to do with when the conception occurs in comparison with your ovulation... So if you aren't fully fertile for an extra day or two, but there was conception, then you would have a girl? That's what was explained to me recently. I think you should wait until about mid July to take a home pregnancy test, however. If you start going crazy trying to take them now, you will just get stressed out about a negative result.... Keep yourself distracted with other things, take a good multivitamin & wait at least 2-3 weeks before testing. Good Luck!!! :-D

5 dates your ovulation could have happened is a big window, i dont think this will result in pregnancy only because with a regualr cycle of 28 days ovulation normally occures round day 14 which would be the 30th for you which would mean unprotected sex 6 days before ovulation. sperm normally lives 5days without an egg and the further away from ovulation you have unprotected sex the more chance of having a girl sex on day of ovulation a boy, girl sperm survives longer .. you didnt say how you got your ovuation dates, or how long your cycle is. but ovulation happens when it happens doesnt play by rules so unless you track your temperture or noticed the streatchy egg whites like discharge indicating ovulation i guess you wont know unless you miss a period, get bloods ect.
