Indy Classic Marathon

Ref the Indy Classic Marathon which will be held on 8 Sep: I drove the full course this weekend and it rocks! Although this marathon course looks tough on the posted elevation website, it is not. There are 2 hills at miles 7 and 9, but they are not a problem....the course is mostly flat and very pretty......H20 will be at each mile mark and most of the course will be closed for oncoming traffic! awesome marathon course...They are also offering prize money for masters, grandmasters in each of the races (marathon and 1/2 marathon and5K!!!)..They are also introducing a new sport called nordic pole walking. Money and great awards for this event too....Awesome course in a major city, awesome prizes and awesome trophies...what else can you ask for?

This sounds like a really tough race, but also fun. I have a feeling those two hills are killer though, especially deep into the race.
