Mmkay, my girlfriend and I both hate using condoms so instead we do withdrawing, we've done so for several months, perhaps.. nearly a year and have never had any problems. But, recently, she's been taking BC pills, birth control, you know, and its been nearly seven days on the pill. Now, we're both curious, for I've heard tales that after a girl is the pill for a long time, that withdrawal won't need to be done, so long as she stays on the pill. That true? I'm sure there's a risk, but, consider a ratio, from one to ten, one being the loweest chance, ten the highest, what is the chance?

There's a chance of pregnancy every time you have sex, regardless of what protection you use. Women who take birth control pills faithfully down to the minute can still end up pregnant. However, some girls can get lucky and have unprotected sex without getting pregnant...for a little while anyway. I can't really tell you the success rate of birth control because it works differently for every woman - for the "average" woman who uses birth control correctly, it should be 99 percent effective in preventing pregnancy. But this is based on statistics...most of which are made up anyway.

Since both of you are anti-condom, I would suggest using another form of protection along with the birth control - try some spermicide. As long as you're having sex, pregnancy can occur at any time, no matter how many precautions you take.
