I am 49 years and I have just been diagnosed with allodynia, related to my migraine problem. It looks like it is some sort of condition where the pain from the migraine is spread to some other body areas. I guess I need to know if there is any way to prevent this, because I have enough problems with headaches, I don’t need any more pain.

Well, medications used are similar to those that are used for the initial condition. It looks like this illness is caused by some disorders in the certain brain areas and drugs have to be used in order to eliminate the pain. I guess that only thing left for you is to hope that the additional pain will not be strong enough so that the meds will be enough.
