I am 45 years old and I have been having problems with high blood pressure for the past six months. I did gain a lot of weight in the past few years and I am trying to loose those extra kilos now. But now I will have to deal with chest pain too. I have been given procardia for that. May I use procardia and diovan at the same time?

As far as I know there is no known interaction between those two meds. And I assume that you have told your doctor about the therapy you are already using. So, you can be certain that you would not be given that medication if it might put you in danger. As for the blood pressure, perhaps you can stop with the therapy but only if you start living (eating) healthier.
