A few months ago, I started running on the treadmill about 4 times a week for one mile, slowly working my way up to a 7 minute mile. Took a week off, then ran a one mile followed by a three mile a half hour after. The next afternoon, I started developing a sharp pain that spiked when I walked and knocked the wind out of me numerous times. I immediately got my first chiropractor (I'm 21) and my back started feeling better. I have been visiting him bimonthly but ever since this issue, my back has been stiff to turn and sometimes even painful, and my lower/mid back gets sore just from standing for over fifteen minutes. It seems that bridging (A stretch where your hands and feet are on the ground with your stomache facing upwards and you try to create a bridge with your body basically upside down) temporarily relieves the soreness. I also use an electro-shock pad device that but don't really notice if it helps, just feels cool. Does anyone know what this is? Has anyone experienced this? Is there something I can be doing to recooperate this?
