ok so im like 12 3/4 years old and i have just been on my period for 3 months now and all of a sudden it not happening. %-) i haven't done anything diffrently this month so is this normal? %-) please help me!!!!

Hi Honey! I thought so! What happens is, once you start menstruating it's like a new job - I always equate things to a job! Wink - So your period just starts, it's on a temporary basis, then you get part time, then evetunally full time! This is the same thing, your body just needs to know that eveyrthing is balanced out and your period knows what to do and when to come to the job, how long the hours are, and when to call it a day! It's basically your body learning to be a woman! IT's ALL about hormones settling down! This will sort out in a few more months! I always tell young girls to ALWAYS carry protection, even when your older and it has settled! Because as a teenager your hormones are all over the place and sometimes you can have a light period then others a REALLY heavy one! so be prepared! And welcome to being a woman! It's a pain in the you know where, BUT it's a right of passage - so to speak! So hang in there honey it WILL sort out soon enough! Good luck!
