As long as you took your pills at the same time every day and didn't miss any (if you did you can make them up and still be protected...follow the instructions included with the pills), you should be fine. When taken perfectly, there's a 1% chance of a woman getting pregnant, that means 1 out of 100 women a year will get pregnant. when not taken perfectly or missed and not made up, it lowers down to 3%. With the birth control pill taken perfectly being 99% effective and the condom being 99% effective put together it's 'almost' impossible to get pregnant. By 'almost' I mean there's always going to be a risk because abstinence is the only 100% way to keep from getting pregnant. I asked my gynocologist if it was ok for my boyfriend and I to have sex at the end of my off-week pill week (even though I didn't take the brown pills because they are reminder/sugar pills, you don't have to take them, and have no hormones). I explained that my last week of my active pills, I missed two pills but as soon as I remembered, I made them up and she told me as long as I made them up, I would be protected and that I don't have to restrain from sex as long as my boyfriend wore a condom and continued taking my next pack on the next day I'm suppose to (I'm a Sunday starter so Sunday night). If you took your pills correctly for the whole pack and didn't miss any but still had unprotected sex, you're protected but your chances of getting pregnant are a little higher than when you use a condom. Birth control pills are 99% effective while condoms are 99% effective and when used together, it's 'almost' impossible to get pregnant. By 'almost' I mean there's always a chance to get pregnant when having sex but abstinence is the only 100% effective way of keeping from getting pregnant. I hope this helps!
