On July 4th, I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke. He did not come inside me. The start date of my last period was June 11th, so I know I wasn't ovulating. I took Plan B on July 5th and had awful side effects for three or four days. The side effects included shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. I got my period on July 11th, exactly when I was supposed to. It was slightly heavier than usual and six days long, which is a day or two longer than usual. Yesterday and today, I have experienced similar symptoms to when I had just taken Plan B, with shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. I have also experienced very very light spotting---not enough to know I was spotting if I wasn't looking for it. I have a feeling that it is because I'm ovulating and my body just has a lot of progesterone in it, but it's logistically difficult for me to take a home pregnancy test right now and I am looking for reassurance. TL;DR: Could have been exposed to BF's precum during a time where I wasn't ovulating. Got my period as normal after taking Plan B. Now am experiencing similar symptoms to side effects of Plan B as I move into the time I am supposed to be ovulating. Can I get reassurance I'm not pregnant?
