thought id write something about my experience as im contantly looking for answers and hope this might make someone feel a little better if they know they arnt the only ones going through this.
about 2 months ago i started to notice changes in my health. Ive always been quite healthy with no serious problems so when something happens im usually aware of it straight away.
I had a coil fitted 6 months ago and i believe that most of my problems stem from there. at night time i have the strangest uncomfortable feeling that comes over me, its similar to a panich attach. but panich attacks build up, this just hits me from nowhere. The doctor has put me on a course of antibiotics as i was sure i had some type of infection.I keep swelling up my legs, bottom of my back and the top of my arms. the antibiotics seem to work for a little while then it starts again. smoking and drinking seem to make it worse so i have done my best to give up both. the weird feeling at night seems to be getting worse and i have a pain in my left breast(where my heart is) and i can see theres a little vain there that might be causeing it...
im having the coil out as all my problems have started since i had it fitted.
ive had blood tests and they all come back fine... if anyone is experiencing any of these symptoms please comment as ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE THE COIL AND HAVE EXPERIENCED IT BEING INFECTED...

I think that is a very good idea to have the coil removed as soon as possible. It sounds like it was a bad thing from the start. I am wondering why the doctor waited so long to have it taken out since you have had nothing but problems with it. I hope you get back to good health as you were before! I am wondering about other people's experiences as well. Has anyone had their coil cause an infection and if so, what type of symptoms did you have with it? Did you have it removed when you had symptoms of infection or other problems?
