So after having intercourse sitting up right twice, and various other positions I noticed pain coming from my penis at the base or root, (closest to my body, dead center of and on top of my penis), which now has a small pea sized lump that can be felt under the skin. I'm still able to grow an erection, and there is no bruising, redness or swelling, but at times, it does hurt. I've made a doctors appointment but I won't be able to see her for a week. What might be the issue?

It could be a cyst or lymphatocele. Sometimes the form if sex if forcefull and lymph gets pushed backwards or out of the vessels

My own thoughts was that maybe it was a suspensory ligament tear or I over stretched it? Like tendentious?

I certainly can vouch for that, at one point I thought why does this hurt so much right after it happened. I do have a high tolerance for pain though, I messed up my knee skiing also just last Saturday. It's had the ACL done and a torn meniscus repaired back in 2000. I had lived w/o the ACL intact since 1988 from another accident on an ATV. At age 53, it not as much as that as the miles, wear and tear from excessive abuse doing construction, sports and yes a lot of sex. On average it takes me 15-20 minutes to achieve an orgasm, mainly due to spinal pressure, but it could be worse. I am not over weight, I weight 170, and I'm 5' 9" and am still fairly active doing construction.

Insee well I would rest for a bit no masturbation or sex for a week or so and see if the lump goes away and then when you do start back up go slow NITHING too rough to that invoulved bending your penis I weird directions especially down towards the floor and tha puts the most strain on your suspensory ligament

Yah, my girlfriend and I have come to that understanding. Funny thing is, well not so funny, but she's a new girlfriend, and this happened on our 1st time together, and the next two other times after that we decided to call it quits until I'm completely healed. The knot had gone away after our weekend together and some pretty rough sex, she was sore too, but then I spent the night over four day later and in the same position, sitting up, and I knew that didn't feel so great, and the knot came back.
I don't think the suspensory ligament is torn, but strained, if that is what's wrong? Either that or the top crura that brings blood to the penis, may have thinned the wall lining? Not sure, but hopefully my PA will tell me on Tuesday what's wrong? Sir, same thing is happening with me. There is a small pea sized lump is in my root of the penis. This is due to rough sex I am sure. Don't panic, but it's scar tissue and you have what's known as penile fracture. Give it a rest for a few weeks. Long story short, it should be better after a rest.

Hey there if it is a round movable bump it does not sound Like a penile fracture.... Penile fractures usually are in the mid shaft and can cause a quite noticeable bend or curve in the penis

Nuther Guest here. Me three, or four... same location, feel, size, though after poking too much with fingers it will swell a bit before eventually subsiding. Mine is dead center, was bee bee sized for about a month or two coming and going, then after a rough weekend with the gf it is sore and pea sized, so hope to make an appointment and rest rest rest.
