I am 20 years old and about a month ago i noticed a very painful itch around my anus. Everytime i poop it feels like spikes and hurts painfully. As if my anus is stretching after trying to heal from whatever. And once i wipe its always blood. A month ago when it started it was just tiny dots but now its alot of it.

And sometimes it itches very badly i have to scratch and i come back and as embarassing as it is.. My finger has this white maybe a tiny bit of yellow on it.. But it seems like a powdery substance. Its gotten my attention i just am very curious to know what it is because its been hurting for sometime and i would like to get it taken care of.

Hi. It sounds to me as though you have hemorrhoids/Piles. Pretty harmless, but they can hurt, sting and itch. You can buy an over the counter cream which will shrink them in a few days, and it will certainly take away the sting and itch. Make sure you aren't constipated, is so, take a remedy for that. Drink lots of water, and eat lots of fruit and veg'. If they continue to bother you ask your GP for help. Good luck.

I see this is an old post but thought it good to reply in case others have the same issue.
This is usually anal fissures (tiny tears of the anus) or a hemorrhoid. Fissures can be caused by things like IBS, constipation, or a hernia of the lower intestine/anus. Fissures are the usual culprit though.

The white stuff you're seeing is probably the skin around the area which is fairly delicate and easy to flake off if you aren't gentle - women get it too on their lady parts sometimes which (among other things of course) is part of why women are so big on their hygeine and skin care.
These symptoms are usually not something to be worried about, but you should go to the doctor just to be sure there isn't an infection or something starting, that there aren't any parasite issues, that the anal/intestinal wall is doing well, etc. If you do have fissures and they don't go away on their own after a few days or a few weeks that is also a trip to the doctor just to be sure.

Sorry, in the first paragraph I meant to say the symptoms can also be caused by a hernia - fissures and hernias are usually separate issues. But hernias are not common in the rectum, especially if you're young and haven't given birth so I wouldn't worry about that.
