should i be worried about a torn labia

my labia is torn as well. is it a big deal???
do i need to see a doctor about it??

I just tore my labia as well and it really took me by surprise. I tried an at-home wax right out of the bathtub and my skin was too soft to do so I think. The whole inner lip ripped right down the center and bled immediately. It definitely freaked me out to say the least. I am unsure what to do now. Is it in my best interest to see a Dr. or is something over the counter sufficient to heal such a sensitive area. It is throbbing and stinging quite a lot (I just did it) and I am worried about possible infection.

Can anyone who similarily f****d up shed some light on this for those of us experiencing this embarrassing and painful problem (a bit traumatizing too, I must admit) !?
