i am 20 years old , on my penis at the bottom of top part a thin tissue is connected to the shaft of my penis from where the head starts, while masturbating when i do it with a little greater force it pricks like hell and some time even blood comes out from that tissue area. is there any way the tissue can be removed so that the foreskin can be rolled totally.

Im 27 and going to have this done I'm crazy nervous about it. Can you answer a few questions.

Was your bridge hallow?
I can stick something under the bridge (eg a q-tip).

Did your Doc recommend full anesthetic?

How long did it take for the penis to look healed (without a scare)

How big was the bridge?

Hi i figured i would share this with you since before having what happened to me i was always wondering if i could get it removed. I am now 21 years old and finally got it removed depending how your skin bridge is i learned you could possibly just get it removed by a trip to your normal doctor. Anyways about a year or two ago i was having to much sex which caused the left side of my skin bridge to get irritated and one day snapped. To describe it I had a skin bridge with two wholes in the middle of the skin bridge so there was three little pieces of skin with two wholes inbetween them it ran from almost the top of my head to the shaft of my penis. So after it snapped on the left side there was only two pieces of the skin bridge with one whole inbetween it. The part that snapped without the doctor looking at it hurt for about a day or two but then eventually healed and was normal. I went to the doctor and he looked at it and said he was going to look at it he came back with tweesers and scissors. He looked at it and said because there was a space under my skin bridge that he could cut it. He had me lay down and put the scissors under it and cut it really quick. I won't lie it was a little painful its like taking scissors and cutting your skin. It was only pain for about 2 minutes and then it went away. It hasn't healed yet it's only been about three days but the skin looks as it's healing fine. I would reccomend going to your doctor and getting it done though not trying it yourself because he cut it as close to the gland as he could and if it's not the same as mine was im sure you could really hurt yourself or your little guy. Anyways hope this helps anybody looking for information on this in the future because I know that I couldn't find anything when I was researching and trying to figure out what to do.

Hi, I'm a mom of a 4 month old boy who has adhesions on the one side of his circumsised penis. I'm freaking out that this will effect him later on in life. Please do not be afraid to talk to your parents!! It was their choice to circumsize you & if they are anything like me, they will do all they can to get the help you need. Do not be embarrassed. Please. I'm going to try & get my son the help he needs now, but it's comforting to know the options you all have discussed later on in life. Good luck!

I'm 16. Today I went to get a physical exam for sports. I mentioned on one of my papers that I had a skin bridge on my penis. My skin bridge was on the right side of my head about a cm wide connecting my head to the shaft. It wasn't really painful during erections. I just simply didn't like it cosmetically. Anyways the doctor just told me to lay down on the exam table and he took a look at my penis. It really wasn't awkward at all unless you make it awkward. He said "Oh yes, this is not uncommon. It is just resulting from your foreskin reattaching to your head after your circumcision." Then he said, "We can take care of this right now if you would like?" This made me a little nervous just thinking about a pair of scissors down there... Anyways he went and got a few local anesthetic shots to numb up my penis. The shots were the worst part. I got two shots in my penis. It felt like a bad bee sting. After that I felt nothing. He simply snipped the band away with scissors, wrapped my penis in gauze, and we were done! I didn't think it would be this easy. I dont feel ANY pain at all. I am so glad that I brought it up and had it fixed. This may sound weird but i just cant wait to see what my new and improved penis looks like! I would highly recommend anyone with a skin bridge to show a doctor. Have any questions just ask!

I just went to a urologist and set up an appt for next week. I too am disappointed with myself for not getting it done years ago. I just never could put a name with the condition. He made is sound like an easy procedure. Thanks so much for your open and honest post!

Buddy, I have I detached skin bridge, and a little piece of lint somehow tied itself unto it, and I put off going to the doctor, and it tourniquetted it and ripped it. Love your penis. Consider your self lucky
