I used ice to numb my 1/8th inch wide skin bridge on the left side of my penis. I then proceeded to cut it off. There was blood. I then realized, because I just moved into our new house I had no idea where the rubbing alcohol was, so I found some Jack Daniels to sterilize the open wounds, both ends of where the skin bridge was connected. Thought I would add to the conversation since I had a penile skin bridge removed several years ago. My only regret was that I didn't do it sooner. My GP took care of it in his office. He said he had done quite a few and acted liked it was very routine. It took about 15 minutes and the healing took a few weeks to return to sexual activity. My advice get it done! HI! I'm 17 and just had a procedure done to remove some sin bridges that I had on the sides of my penis. I'm reaching out in hopes of helping others to find the courage or information they need to proceed and get them removed. I've had fairly large skin bridges all my life and on one side of my penis the head was completely attached to the shaft. It is such a relief to have them removed, I feel much more confident and happy with my penis and I recommend to have the procedure done to remove any skin bridges. There will be some pain and discomfort and the post operation requirements are limiting, it also isn't cheap but it is absolutely worth it. DO NOT pull on any skin bridges or try to remove them on your own, this could cause serious problems, pain, or make things worse. If you are a minor and are able to tell a legal guardian do it! Don't be afraid, this is important and this is your future, don't let fear or anxiety rule your confidence or your future sex life. I hope this helped!

I have one bridge on the side of my penis. I feel like it's fairly big when flaccid, but stretches and is rather thin when erect. It tugs on the head so that it is pointing roughly 45 degrees to the right. It also opens up my urethra opening a bit. While I do find it uncomfortable, I still have an ok sex life. I've thought about having it fixed and have talked to the urologist I'm still very anxious.
First, when I get nervous/anxious my guy gets smaller. I worry that the doc won't be able to do it correctly. I also worry that it will become infected and my twig will fall off.
Second, I worry about the appearance afterwards as it is connected almost at the top of the head. Will I have a skin tag there after? What does it look like when fully healed? Has sex improved dramatically for those that have had the procedure?

I'm also 22 years old but i only have to remove 1 skin bridge it's like mediem also only going took about 30 min and put me to sleep . Skin bridges are a complication of circumcision. If you had not been circumcised, then you would not have these skin bridges.
You can try peeling the foreskin away from the glans penis to see if you can break the remaining fusion. Use your thumbs. Do it carefully and little by little. It may take you several tries to get it all.
If that doesn't work, then you will have to see a urologist to get them separated.

hey, im 15 years old and i have a skin bridge that stops me from pulling my foreskin all the way down, it doesnt hurt unless I really tug at it but im not sure what I should do. I really want to avoid telling my parents as i would rather die, does anyone have any advice as to what I should do? WIll it be a problem in future life?
