I had my period and in stopped on the 4th. I had unprotected sex twice on the 7th my boyfriend and I got worried so we bought the plan B pill which i took that same day. On the 14th i started spotting and it hasnt stopped since. Some days itll be more than other days the blood is brownsome days and its red on otherdays.. Can anyone help??

Hi Vanessa! Since you took Plan B on the same day, then you will not be pregnant, but what can happen is that the pill is FILLED with hormones that can sometimes start your period earlier OR cause something called "Vaginal Bleeding" this is from an increase in hormones! The thing that IS bothering me is this constant spotting.. I would really like you to go and see a doctor about this! And when you are there, you need to discuss about going on the pill! You CANT use Plan B for contraception - in the 1 pill virtually contains the same amount of hormones as a whole months worth of BCP's! So please don't take the chances OK? One other thing that just came to my mind is this - have either of you been tested for STD's/STI's? Because sometimes bleeding can be a sign of an STI! Perhaps both of you should go and get checked out at the STD clinic, before you book an appointment with your doctor! I wish you both health and good luck, and please let me know how you make out OK?
