steroid shot for allergies; safe while breastfeeding?

Did you tell the nurse or doctor that you were breast feeding? My experience is that steroids one of the more desperate measures for care. I definitely would NOT breastfeed a baby while on steroids. They are usually prescribed for short periods of time for most people because the affects can be negative. Call the administering doctors office, but in the mean time, I'd stop breast feeding immediately.
