Hi,
I am 43 and had been on birth control pills since I was 17, getting off of them to have babies, and then right back on. I recently stopped, after asking my doc if it was okay to quit cold turkey, and he said yes. He recently moved away and is no longer here to talk to. I had a regular period in Nov 2009, after I stopped taking them that month. Then, no period since. I consulted my doc at 6 month, and was told I had nothing to worry about, at this age, I could be in pre-menoposal stages and may not have another. I didn't get checked, yet again, because right after, he moved away.

I feel so good, no pms that I suffered from severly before, since I have gotten off of the pill. Should I be worried? Or just wait until my next exam and talk to the new doctor? I feel good, sleep well, and have plenty of energy. No crazy hormone ups and downs. I'm almost afraid to mess with it. Ha.
