I have 22 year-old son. We just found out that he has testicular atrophy. I suspect that this condition is caused by steroids which I know he is using when he goes to the gym. All the boys are taking them there. Could testicular atrophy be sign of cancer? Please tell me more about that, I am a very worried mother.

I have heard a case of a boy, same age as your son that had testicular atrophy, but it was caused by some infection. That condition actually implies that testes diminish in size and may be accompanied by ceasing to function. Anabolic steroids can also cause testicular atrophy, but it can be reversed when the course of treatment ends. Testicular atrophy with undescended testes is in relation with cancer, actually there is high risk in cases like that.
His urologist will know what his real condition is and how to treat it. I am sure it will all end well.

I am a male and 38 years old. I have no cancer, and no other diseases, but have very fast ejaculation. Is there any drug to delay ejaculation? I am worried about testicular atrophy. Thanks.
