I have tonsalidis, and am taking antiboidics and Advil. But I have been sweating after taking the Advil, but not with a fever. this is managable during the day, but it is heavy enough that sleep is next to impossible for me at night.
Is it the Advil that is causing this? it has been 3 days in a row now, and seems to happen along the same time line as the pain in my throut lessening. And my throat is way to soar to try to sleep without it.
Is there an alternative to ibuprophen that I can take without a prescription?
I am also allergic to Tylenol (acedominaphyin) so that is not a possilbe alternative.

Its definitely the advil. I was sweating like crazy at night until I stopped taking Advil, then instantly better. Not sure what the alternative is though...
Good luck!

Hi, I have all the same symptoms when taking Advil. Consume large quaunties of water during the night. Never having to get up too urinate.
It's like my Kidneys have shut down... What's going on inside the body.
No more Advil for me. It has not happened with Tylenol so far after one night... At least I can get rid of the fluid normally by urinating, and then go back to bed and sleep in comfort, not a pool of sweat...
