Hi. I have been on birth control for ten years. I have been using Yaz for a little over two years now. My husband and I want to start trying to conceive. Not to get too graphic, but before I was on the Pill, I had incredibly heavy periods... bad enough I had to stay home. My concern now is that I will go off the pill and have very heavy periods again or it will be very irregular so I never know when to expect it and will have 'accidents.' Does being on the pill for so long possibly make the periods lighter or is there no way of knowing?? Thanks for any advice!
