ok, so i am a 19 year old female, and i have had white patches on my tounge since i was in 6th grade. I once asked my doctor about it and she simply shrugged it off saying it was prolly permanent and i just shouldnt worry about it. but it all just seems weird to me. they dont really bother me, i am pretty much used to them now, and i dont want to bring it up with my doctor again cuz i dont want her to say the same thing again, should i get a second opinion or just trust what she said the first time?
