I had been on depo for 3 years, my hair began to fall out, I was severly depressed and ached all over. My ob switched me to YAZ, I have been on it for a year until a customer begged me to go off of it because her niece died from blood clots. I never had a 'real' period on Yaz, instead have had dark brown old blood in huge clots. I would take a bath and quarter size clots of old blood would be in the tub. That is NOT natural!!! I am now looking into natural herbs like flaxseed and primrose. I have friends that swear by it. I have been off of it for over a week, not sure what to expect but after reading up on it, it does scare me for whats to come, but scares me worse for what could happen if I stayed on it. At first i thought they both were the best drugs invented, boy was I WRONG!!!

I think our best option is to practice safe sex, take better care of ourselves (not eat hormone injected meats & poultry, research this as well), exercise and pop a mood pill when we are hormonal. And a bag of chocolates!

Our bodies are designed to have periods ... and all this stuff does is mess us up physically and mentally. I am heartbroken about the girl that died from YAZ. Three doctors confirmed it in NC.

The ad's claim these drugs are the best thing ever... they are for the pharmacutical companies that are raking in millions of dollars a year.

It's time to get serious about our health. Do the research, it is insane how many women have had serious complications from Depo Vera and Yaz.
