Not only that older age increases risks of infertility but it also increases risks of having heartbreak. Women who decide to have their first child after the age of 35 are facing possible infertility problems and their pregnancies are considered high-risk pregnancies.

Specialists who treat and take care of women with high-risk pregnancies report that these mothers are more prone to heart attacks.
The reason of the risk lies in the fact that their arteries may be hardening and that their heart won’t be able to handle the stress of pregnancy.

The study involved 12 million pregnant women and it was found that heart attacks affected about six in every 100,000. Future mothers who had blood transfusion during deliveries were seven times more likely to suffer heart attacks. Forty year-olds have 30 times greater risk than the 20-year-olds.
