1st time on Novynette.

this is my 1st time on the birth control pill, novynette, i started on the 1st day of my period that is the 18th of feb., however by late afternoon there was no more period..there is a brownish discharged tht began a couple days after starting the pill..i am on my 11th pill and have not gotten a period for feb....is this something i should be concerned abt??....i have fould very little info. on novynette could you tell me the side effects if any ...thank u

i've been taking Novynette for 2 years with a little break of 3 months: even though it has a long list of side effects, the only side effect i had was - my breast got big and itchy. my period was not 5 days anymore, it was last for 3 days. Every person is different, so i guess you just have to see for yourself)
do you get these pills online? my pharmacy dont sell it anymore >:(

I started taking novynette on the 19th December 2009 and after my 10th day on the pill I had my period as normal. this is the first time i am on the pill due to polycystic ovaries and my last period was November 26th
th e funny this is tha i have always had a regular period and no symptoms what so ever.

hi i have started taking novynette for two weeks now and i have been experiencing bumps all over my stomach, neck and parts of my back. it itches a little but and i stopped it, what can i use to get rid of these bumps ?

hey how long does it take for novynette to become effective as a contraceptive? i've read a couple articles and some say once it's taken on first day of your period you get immediate protection going forth and others have stated that it takes at least 7 days before it becomes effective. please advise

I have been on Novynete for about 36 months. I used Novynette (21 pills cycle pack). I finished my last pack last month and decided to stop to let nature take its course to start trying for a baby. The most noticeable side effects i experienced taking this brand of contraceptive are weight gain, itchy/tender breasts, bloating, sometimes there would be mucous viscosity somewhere in the middle of the cycle, as well i would have three days of (light/moderate withdrawl bleeding after the 21 days (which would start 3 days after taking the last pill from the pack). I believe the pill is effective, but it might be best to wait a week to ensure protection and make sure you take it at the same time everyday, or if you forget to, take it as soon as you remember. There were times this happened and I was still protected.

i am on noyvette about 3 months and more, when i started my first pack i didnt see my period and on contacting my doctor he told me take provera for ten days. when i took it my periods came and on the first day of my periods i took the pills and then from there i got my periods like normal...

well my doctor gave me novynette couple days ago and she said if you have a regular period the ones that usually last five days it wont last as long as it usually does.

This is my first time using it. I'm gaining weight, feeling upset most of the time. My breast hurt constantly. I guess it's not for everyone.

I have used novynette before but i never had any side effects. Now, after 6-7 years i am back on it and the side effects are crazy. I have been emotional, tired and recently i have noticed a change in my sexual drive. As much as i want to have sex, for some strange reason i can't seem to have the energy for it and i am worried that this can affect my marriage. Anyone else have these side effects??

I usually have a four day period. I wanted novynette as a contraceptive..so I first started it on the 4th day of my period and the period stopped later that evening. I used the tablet for 21 days and took a 7 days break to allow my period to come. My period came very good on the 5th day of the break and lasted 4 days. I resumed the pill on the 8th day whilst the period was finishing up. No side effects thus far...
