i had an abortion about 2 months ago and started taking birth control pills right after, i had a regular period at the end of the first month of pills but now i'm having a period again only 2 weeks later. and it's in the middle of the month and the middle of my pills. my partner and i started having sex again more frequently since it's been awhile and i don't know if that has caused problems or not. is something wrong?

HI =) Nothing is wrong, it is actually quite common for most women to notice bleeding in between periods during their first 2-3 months on birth control. The hormones are taking over your cycle, and your body has to adjust to the new rhythm, but nothing is wrong.

I am usually on a 26 day menstrual cycle. This Jan 9th, I had my period and I am having it again since Jan 27. I am not into pills or any form of birth control. The menstrual flow is just like any other month, there are no pains. I'm noticing however that my menstrual period is becoming shorter. I usually have my period for 7 days until it totally stops. Now, it's only 4-5 days.

If you have lost a lot of weight or are extremely (or have greatly increased) your activity level, your body will adjust. I used to be REALLY active, two sports at a time on top of weight training classes, and my periods were only 4-5 days, where as now, I'm not quite as active and they are 7 days. (I wish they would have stayed 4-5 days).

Hi. I was using LoestrinFe 24 for about a year and then just recently switched in March to the generic version Junel Fe. I havent had any problems til just recently. I had my period like normal and then after I got off a week later I had sex with my boyfriend and I started bleeding again and its been about 2 or 3 days now and Im still bleeding, and it looks like Im on my period. Is there any explanation or something for thing?
