So for the past 5 years I've been chronically nauseous. I've only vomited twice from this mystery condition but it's wreaking havoc on my life. A bit of background: I have generalised anxiety disorder, IBS and apparently GERD. I've been tested for celiac disease, had a colonoscopy and blood tests but apart from slightly lower B12 everything is clear! I was just diagnosed with IBS. I've been to the doctor on multiple occasions and been told it's stress every time, which does worsen it but it's still there when I'm not stressed. It's at its worst in the morning and after eating, so I don't normally eat breakfast. I noticed that the biggest triggers for this were fizzy drinks and cold water. Anyway, I'm just wondering if this really could be psychological or something else? I eat a lot of gum too but this started before the gum habit so I don't think I can attribute it to that.

Also forgot to say, I've been on fluoxetine for 4 years, upped to 30mg about 10 months ago. Have tried mebeverine for the IBS and I think it was called spasmonal but none of them worked. Domperidone took the edge off but that didn't last long. Same with buccastem
