Sounds like you're in a treatment program from a qualified doctor, and I don't want to suggest anything to interfere with his instructions to you.
However, as a young married, you may want to "bone up" (read up) on some of the basics from a liberal book or two.
May I recommend "The Guide to Getting It On" from Goofy Foot Press (now up to the fifth edition or higher). This is a very liberal discussion of sex and feeling, from the basic anatomy to tips and suggestions of how to relax and "get it on". This book may not be welcome in all cultures, as it has a very light and irreverent tone through the writing, but it is very frank and most feel it to be helpful in looking a the wide range of sexual expression and roles.
An older graphic sex manual is "The Joy of Sex" which has a modern day edition. The only caution is that the beautiful charcoal drawings are graphic and depict a western male and female. It may not represent you or your culture, but it certainly can help be a discussion starter for you and your partner.
Good luck.
