after 7 years of 3 mgs per day i feel as tho i am losing my mind. pharmacist refuses to refill my 2 remaining refills due to a trip across country. per walgreens, too many refills in too many places??? no abuse of drug, no early refills, etc. apparently a law change? i am left to dry out with no weaning. ER was no help even tho i gave them my bottles and list of towns refilled. 1st psych appt is 3 wks out. NO dr or DO will deal w/me. What to do?

I really don't want to sound preachy - I'm on Klonopin myself, so don't think I don't know I could easily end up in situation just like yours - but 3 mg daily is a large dose. I take 1.5 split into 3 daily doses, and my doc says she'll cut it down even more. But back to your problem - did you call the doctor who gave you the prescription? What did he/ she say?
I don't think there's been any changes in prescribing rules related to Klonopin, but you'll have to get some medical help either way. You can't go cold turkey after 7 years of this medication, it can be horribly dangerous for your health,

Oh wow, you're in a real hell. hope the doc you find is any good - I can't imagine worst than Xanax. Took me quite a few months to get that thing out of my mind after I stopped taking it. Just stay strong!
