I am not certain that it would be the wisest thing to skip a doctor in this situation. At least, think about roentgen shot, which might help in determining if there is some more serious problem. As for chiropractitioners, I must admit that I also have positive experience with them, I had a knee problem which was fixed in a matter of minutes, but I am not sure they can help you too.
