I have a question regarding Birth Control Pills and Period Cycles.
I'm on Diane 35 and have been on it for almost a year, things are going good. But I was talking to a couple girls, and although they are on different types of pills it got me thinking.....
On their pills they take their 3 weeks worth of pills in the order they say ex. week one pills 1-7, week 2 pills 8-..... etc. and on the 21 day when they stop taking their schedule of pills the next day they automatically get their period. Its like clock work.
I on the other hand, have been diagnosed with PCOS, thats when I was put on BCP's. So my hormones are out of wack. But my pills being Diane 35, have no specific order to take the pills, its just a circle, or 21 Days, with Days on them. there is no first or last designated pill. So when I take my 21 Pills, I normally have to wait about 4 or 5 days before I get my peroid....is this normal?
My Schedule, I Start my Pills on a Monday(Day1), and end on a Sunday(Day21). I get my period on Day 25 normally or around then anyways, and start my pills again the following Monday so Day28. Even though my period isn't over.
Is this all an ok thing? or should I be getting my peroid right way on day 22? I just assumed since this is how I have always been, this is the norm for me!

Yes it is TOTALLY normal! EVERY type of pill has its on "concoction" of hormones! So with Diane it takes 4 to 5 days after to get your period1 As long as it is helping with your PCOS and you have no other problems this IS the pill for you!

Thanks Bambi, Thats what I figured, I was just making sure! I use the Pill for my symptoms but also for birth control, I haven't had any issues yet, but it just got me thinking!
As for the Game, I know many who were at the game (does that give away too much of my geographical area?) It was a good Game, although I wasn't around to watch it, I heard all about it! I'm Canadian afterall, Hockey is everything right? lol
