I am a young woman who has been experiencing bleeding during intercourse. There is no pain involved, just a small amount of blood, but still very embarrasing. I have been tested for all STI's two weeks ago, all clear, and had an ultrasound, all clear. Everytime I have sex, it happens, never fails, no matter the position. Doctor also said my cervix looks perfectly normal. About a year or so ago, this was happening to me. I went thru the testing, all clear, just like this time. I decided to go on birth control and low and behold, it fixed the problem. After about 3 months I went off the pill, and the bleeding never came back until now. Its been wonderful not to worry about the bleeding, but I dont understand why this is happening again? The doc said 'its just one of those things' which I HATE because its so hard to live like this. There has to be a reason! I am going to go back on the pill but I feel like this is just covering the problem, not fixing it. Anyone have any idea why this may be happening to me? And how to fix it without being on the pill?
