I doubt you are going to make him think you only had sex with him. As you said, he's lost faith (and trust) in you.
He's been using you. He continued to have sex with you after you told him that you had had sex before. He also won't marry you because you are not a virgin, yet, assuming you/d had sex only with him you STILL would NOT be a virgin when you were married.
Was he a virgin? If not ask him what the difference is? I'm not a fan of "old fashioned" beliefs. Women are equals in ALL aspects.
He's making excuses.
Find a real man, they are out there. You will not die if you don't get him. 4 months is fast.
