Clotting/Blood coming out of vaginal cyst???

Hi,
I had an external vaginal cyst incised about 4 weeks ago, the cyst was the size of a golfball, it was healing great until this Friday i thought i started my period, which was 5 days early (im normally exactly on time), my cyst became very sore and when i had a look there was blood coming out of my cyst incision which i thought was very strange, then this was followed by a massive amount of bleeding, i was literally filling a sanitary towel every hour, i tried to use a tampax, once i filled the next sanitary towel i pulled the tampax out and it was completely white!!!!! So im assuming that in this case it wasnt my period??? there was massive amounts of blood and huge clots coming out of the vagina and the cyst incision wound! Hospital sent me home saying it was just my period and there was no way that blood was coming from the cyst incision, problem with that is after having the most painful feelng from my cyst to the point i could hardly walk i managed to pull a blood clot from my cyst followed by lots of blood, i feel so isolated and the hospital just wont listen despite losing at least a pint of blood over saturday and sunday.
