Well Elma, not sure what to tell ya. I've had 3 cortisone injections in my left knee prior to being told that I had nerve damage in my knee which is being treated with nerve blocks currently. I never had any of the symptoms that you are mentioning. I felt great afterwards other than the immediate pressure the day off while having the extra fluid in my knee. The only thing I can think right now is that you should go to the doctor. You might be having an allergic reaction to the injection which is not good at all. The way your body obsorbs this injection it could be bad. You might have also had a faulty injection or the doctor could have missed and hit a nerve directly or something. I've never heard of anyone having these symptoms from a routine injection.

Can anyone tell me what can help a temporary headache, brought on by a steroid injection in the knee? Benadryl works great but makes me very drowsy, and I have Grandkids to watch today. Thank you.
